What is it?

Vitamin B8 is water-soluble, meaning that it is soluble in water. It must therefore be provided by the diet so that the body has a sufficient supply.

Things to know!

The bioavailability of this vitamin is variable. It is often low for foods of plant origin.

It should be noted that the consumption of raw eggs leads to a deficiency in biotin, because biotin will combine with a protein in the egg white which will make it unavailable.
