Melon-derived SOD® – SuperOxide Dismutase – is an enzyme known for its cosmetic properties. Enzymes are proteins. SOD® is extracted from organic, non-GMO melons grown in the south of France. More precisely, the type of melon used is the Cantaloup melon variety, whose SOD content is 5 to 10 times higher than that of other melons.
Because of its exceptional purity and stability this tried and tested SOD can be used in a dose of only 10 mg per day. Melon-derived SOD® helps limit the visible signs of ageing, such as the appearance of wrinkles.
