Nature is our muse

At She+ we believe in the power of nature. In a synergy with pure science. For optimal results.

Always looking for the best ingredients that nature gives us

Nature is our ultimate source of inspiration. At She+ we believe in the power of nature. That’s why we always start from the most natural ingredients – yes, even our flavourings are of natural origin – and then, through innovative scientific research, we develop the optimal bio-active form of each ingredient and apply it in our formulas.

Safety first! We purposely do not use controversial ingredients in our nutritional supplements. After all, safety is one of our top objectives. All our products are therefore GMO free. And, naturally, our decision is also driven by our ambition to create a more sustainable world.

Our premium ingredients

Omega 3

Omega-3 fatty acids are involved in many bodily functions and are found in oily fish and certain micro-algae. Since it is difficult to absorb the daily dose, we have developed a pure, high-quality and highly effective fish oil. In addition – especially for our Pregnancy range – our research team has selected a pure oil from micro-algae that is effective and well absorbed.

Magnesium

Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in countless reactions in every cell of the body. For example, magnesium plays a part in the transmission of nerve impulses, it helps reduce fatigue and contributes to normal muscle contractions… She+ developed a magnesium formula that is easily absorbed and meets our needs sufficiently.

Folic Acid

Folic acid, also known as B9, is not produced by the body. It is good for normal blood formation (haematopoiesis) and, for example, the development of the placenta and the growth of the uterus during pregnancy. She+ opted for calcium L-methylfolate, an innovative and easily absorbable source of folic acid.

Useful ingredients for a better and healthier life

Our efforts to provide your body with pure goodness are not just empty words. We try to optimise the efficacy and dosage of each natural ingredient through advanced scientific research. To make sure your body can absorb it more easily – the so-called bioavailability – and to optimise its effectiveness.

Our patented ingredients

Metafolin®

Metafolin® is a patented form of bioactive vitamin B9, also known as natural folic acid or calcium-L-methylfolate. Vitamin B9 contributes to normal blood formation, helps maintain the proper functioning of the body’s immune system and helps reduce fatigue. Vitamin B9 also plays a role during pregnancy, as early as from one month before and up to three months after conception. This micronutrient contributes to the development of the placenta and uterine growth during pregnancy. The patented Metafolin® is an innovative form that is very well absorbed and used by the body, which promotes its efficiency.

Metafolin® is a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany

Pycnogenol ®

Pycnogenol® is a 100% natural ingredient of vegetable origin. It is a patented maritime pine bark extract from the Landes region in France. This maritime pine bark of Pycnogenol® quality is a very powerful antioxidant which helps protect all body cells from oxidative stress (such as UV rays). Moreover, Pycnogenol® reduces the visible signs of ageing and helps preserve the skin’s elasticity and softness. It also promotes skin hydration for a beautiful, vital and youthful appearance.

Naticol®

Collagen is a structural protein produced in the body which is involved in the normal organisation of tissues, such as the skin. As we get older, collagen synthesis decreases, compounded by a natural process of gradual collagen degradation. Yet, our lifestyle also has a big impact. For example, tobacco, alcohol, stress or fatigue will weaken the body’s collagen reserves. Naticol® helps maintain and replenish those collagen reserves. This slows down the visible ageing of the skin and the appearance of wrinkles.

SOD® (SuperOxide Dismutase)

Melon-derived SOD® is an enzyme known for its cosmetic properties. Melon SOD® has been tested and will help limit the visible signs of ageing, such as the appearance of wrinkles.

Our natural vitamins

Vitamine A

Vitamin A is a so-called “liposoluble” vitamin. This means that these vitamins are soluble in fat and can be stored by our body. It is therefore important to avoid excessive vitamin intake, as vitamin A becomes toxic in large doses. The maximum tolerable intake is 3000 µg/day (expressed in retinol equivalents) for adults. Vitamin A is present in many foods such as eggs (182 µg/100 g retinol), raw carrots (690 µg/100 g retinol), and pumpkin (258 µg/100 g retinol). Vitamin A plays a role in maintaining normal vision and skin, but also in the normal functioning of the immune system and cell specialisation.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is also a liposoluble vitamin. This vitamin plays a role in many biological processes. It is known for its antioxidant properties contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, particularly in cell membranes and lipoproteins. The vitamin is mainly found in vegetable oils such as soybean oil (560-1600 mg vit E/kg), corn oil (530-1620 mg/kg), and olive oil (50-150 mg/kg). Wholegrain cereals and nuts are also good sources of vitamin E. The reference intake is 12 mg per day.

Vitamin D3

Like vitamins A and E, vitamin D is liposoluble. Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. This vitamin exists in two forms: vitamin D2 or ergocalciferol on the one hand, synthesised by yeast, and vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol on the other hand, synthesised in animals or humans by the action of ultraviolet B radiation. Exposure to UV radiation is essential to ensure adequate vitamin D intake. For this reason, vitamin D deficiency is extremely common in children and adults, especially in late winter and early spring in the northern hemisphere. In the West, up to 40% of the population over the age of 50 is vitamin D deficient.

Vitamin K2

Vitamin K completes the group of fat-soluble vitamins. This vitamin is known for its role in normal blood clotting. Vitamin K exists in three forms: phylloquinone (K1) from leafy greens, menaquinone (K2) from intestinal bacteria and menadione (K3) which is a synthetic compound. In addition to its contribution to blood clotting, vitamin K plays a role in the maintenance of normal bone structure. The reference intake is 75µg per day. However, people taking coumarin anticoagulants should not exceed an intake of 25µg per day.
